EMERGENCY TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF B3091 SHAFTESBURY ROAD, WEST ORCHARD

DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along B3091 Shaftesbury Road, West Orchard between its junction opposite Lower Breach Farm and its junction opposite The Zinc Barn as indicated by the traffic signs on site, a distance of approximately 510 metres. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. EMERGENCY TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MILL STREET, FONTMELL MAGNA

DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Mill Street, Fontmell Magna between Springhead and Springhead Farm a distance of approximately 210 metres. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. It came in to operation with immediate effect and can remain in force for up to 21 days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31st July 2026.This Notice will enable Wessex Water Services safe access to carry out emergency works to repair main leak. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
